The new ship, named HTMS Angthong (LPD-791), was launched in March 2011 and now undergoing sea trials by ST Marine.

Royal Thai Navy HTMS Angthong LPD (all photos : thaifighterclub)In November 2008, ST Marine was awarded contract by Thailand to deliver one LPD and associated landing craft. Construction of the Thai LPD started in mid-2009 and delivery is scheduled for the second half of 2012.
The new ship, named HTMS Angthong (LPD-791), was launched in March 2011 and now undergoing sea trials by ST Marine.
